In our courses we include the free round trip transfer service from your accommodation, as long as it is between San Agustín and Meloneras. Outside that area to the south – Salobre, Arguineguín, Anfi del Mar, Puerto Rico, Amadores, Taurito or Mogán – we apply a supplement of 25 euros per reservation. Surf Lessons FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between the 3-day and 5-day surf courses?

The main difference is independence. In 3 days you learn the basics. In 5 days your body develops muscle memory and you start reading the ocean, which is essential to surf safely on your own in the future.

I’ve never surfed before. Can I book the 5-day course directly?

Yes — and it’s actually recommended. The course is designed to start from zero and progress step by step.

What if I book 1 day and want to continue?

No problem at all. Many students get hooked after the first lesson. You can add extra days using our Extra Day rate (€42.50).

A special mention goes to Paul, who was incredibly kind from the very first moment. He gave us a surf day we had been dreaming about for a long time. His attitude was not just professional, but genuinely warm and welcoming — you immediately feel like part of a small surf family.

He was so helpful that he let us take two boards for the price of one, so we could switch depending on how the waves evolved during the session. That level of flexibility and understanding is rare. The entire team was extremely polite and friendly, creating a relaxed and familiar atmosphere.

On the first day, unfortunately, there were no waves and I couldn’t surf. The next day, Paul gave me a board for free, offered me some surf gadgets as a gift, and made sure I could fully enjoy the experience. That kind of generosity is something you don’t forget.

Every time I come back to Gran Canaria, I will rent my board from him — not only to surf, but also to spend time chatting, laughing, and enjoying the true spirit of surf culture.
